2026 year-end guidelines by carrier

Open a carrier’s resource for its complete submission, placement, commission, and holiday details. Confirm any product-specific rules before proceeding.

If your carrier is not listed, contact Gen3 for its current guidance. Do not assume that another carrier’s deadline or a prior-year schedule applies.

Before you submit: reduce avoidable delays

Use these checks alongside the carrier deadline guide. Requirements and their timing vary by state, carrier, product, and underwriting path.

  • Confirm licensing, appointment, and training status. Ask Gen3 to verify the requirements and timing for the state, carrier, and product, including any required annuity training, before taking or submitting business.
  • Match names and contact information. Check full legal names, dates of birth, email addresses, and mobile numbers. Use consistent insured, owner, and trust or business details throughout the case.
  • Use eApps when available. Submit through iGo, FireLight, or Vive when available for the carrier and product. Complete the electronic workflow and include any required supporting forms, illustrations, and signatures.
  • Coordinate the underwriting path. Raise cases needing preliminary review early and confirm remaining informal deadlines. For accelerated underwriting, check the carrier’s process with Gen3 before arranging an exam.
  • Prepare clients for their next steps. Explain any required carrier interview, health questionnaire, electronic signatures, or records request. Help clients recognize carrier communications and respond promptly.
  • Reconcile ownership and funding instructions. Confirm that premium checks, EFT authorizations, and trust or business documents meet the carrier’s requirements. Flag third-party payors, transfers, and 1035 exchanges early so Gen3 can verify the process.
